Luminled Technology Pte Ltd
is in the business of creating the right ambience for all occasions by using our in-house developed LED luminaires. We are supported by engineers and operations staff who have worked many years in electronic and LED traffic light industries. Most of our lighting projects involve conceptualization, demonstration of proof of concept, prototyping, design & development, testing, customer acceptance before implementation.

As a spin-off from these projects, we are now offering our in-housed developed LED products for sale as OEM products to our strategic partners. In this way, we differentiate our Luminled products from the standard off-the-shelf LED lights and devices. Our unique product specifications will allow us to compete effectively in the LED retail market.

We believe the LED technology will dominate the lighting industry because of many advantages and benefits of LED. Very briefly, LEDs are

1. ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY:

Solid State Lighting (SSL) benefits the environment. The low power requirements of LED lights make them an ideal choice for connecting to solar or wind powered installations, particularly in remote locations. LEDs are power savers; so is their manufacturing process.

2. ECONOMICAL:

Despite their initial high price, the use of LED lighting can offer significant cost savings over time, not only in terms of reduced energy consumption, but maintenance as well.

3. LONG LIFE:
Even in hostile conditions, LED has a working life between 50,000 to 100,000 hours. Whereas, most filament bulbs and fluorescent lights expire between 1000 to 10,000 hours. CFL has an average working life of 15,000 hours. LEDs do not suddenly burn out – they slowly fade over time, giving ample opportunity to plan replacements. Even at the end of its working life, an LED will still be giving some light.

4. DURABLE & RELIABLE:

The filament in a normal bulb is very fragile, easily broken by a sudden shock or “soft” drop. An LED is encased in virtually unbreakable high strength optical grade resin. There is no glass or filament to break, making LED light sources perfect for rugged or demanding environments, or installations where access is difficult.

5. SAFE AND SECURE:
The low heat and low voltages & current associated with LEDs make them a far safer source of light. No glass to break, no white-hot filament, no flames and no noxious fumes.

6. FLEXIBLE IN DESIGN:
The minute size, safe nature, durability and reliability of LEDs make them highly adaptable for a wide range of applications. LEDs can be built in recesses of stairway, handrail or furniture for lighting. With LEDs, anything can become a source of light and they offer designers and architects a lighting tool of unprecedented versatility.
